Want to learn with others?

There are many reasons to learn a language:

Learning a language can be so much more fun when you learn with other people. We offer courses at various times of the year with an established progression route so that you can continue your learning.

You will learn the language in a fun and communicative way, whilst also learning the rules that govern the structure of the language. There will be group work and pair-work, using various prompts to help you use and remember the language learnt.

During the coronavirus pandemic, all face-to-face classes have been suspended. However, we are successfully continuing via Zoom until we can offer our normal classes again.

German Advanced - an advanced course for those who already have GCSE/O-level, who have undertaken some study beyond that and who wish to keep up and improve not only their language skills, but also their knowledge of the life and culture in German-speaking countries. Learners are not expected to be fluent and the emphasis is on becoming more confident, accurate and fluent in the language, through the study and discussion of topical and everyday themes in a friendly, informal environment. Grammar points will be revised as necessary.

The classes take place on a Thursday evening from 19.30-21.00 at Leighton Buzzard library, Lake Street, Leighton Buzzard. Please email if you feel you need more information.

German Intermediate - a course for those who have recently completed approx two years' study of German; the course could also be suitable for those who achieved GCSE or O-level some years ago and who want to brush up their skills. The classes take place on a Monday evening, from 19.30-21.00 in the Wyn Jones room, part of the community hall next to St Barnabas church in Linslade, accessed via Waterloo Rd, Linslade LU7 2NR.

German Beginners - an introductory group course will start as soon as numbers make this viable. Why not get together with some friends and learn together? Just email us to register your interest and find out more.
